I've never experienced a problem with documents placed on the 'document glass' nor the top automatic document feeder. Only recently has placing documents in the automatic document reader for copying have i been seeing a single vertical streak down each copied page. To avoid the streak i have to manually copy via the document glass. The toner cartridge is fine as proven by the alternate copying method.
