- I have a Lexmark Z611 printer. It takes cartridge 16 or 17. In the past, we had been using a 16. We refilled the last one and for some reason it didnt work right so we went and got a new 17 today. But this isnt printing anything. Ive done all the troubleshooting I can think of. I know there is ink in it but its not going onto the paper. I took the tape off so I know thats not the problem. I have restarted the computer. Restarted the printer. It acts like it is printing but its not. What could be the problem What can I do to fix this problem Serious replies only please. I need this for my taxes.?
- I bought a Lexmark 1200 series printer for my T23 IBM Think Pad. My laptop will not recognize the USB cable and printer.?
- I just bought the Lexmark E120 today. Salesman didn't tell me the USB cord needed to be bought separately, so I've used the cord from my LaCie HDD to connect it to my PC. Installation CD wouldn't work, so I downloaded the drivers from the Lexmark website. It seems to have installed properly, but when I try to print anything, it doesn't seem to send to the printer. When I open the Printers status, it says 'Error - Printing' or 'Error - Sent to printer'. I can print a test page using the button on the printer, but can't print one using a computer command. Could it be because of the USB connection Or can you suggest anything I can do to fix it?
- Ok, I admittedly I brought my Lexmark Z615 printer second hand with half filled ink cartridges and after setting it up the thing wont print. The paper runs through it but nothing comes out on the paper, I've tried cleaning the nozzles through the software etc. My dad advised me that maybe the ink has hardened as it has not been used for so long and has clogged up the 'jets' in the printer. Could he be right and does this mean its knackered?
- My Lexmark 1240 printer runs the paper but it doesn't print.?
- I have a Lexmark z611 that's printing very streaky documents. I thought maybe the ink cartiridge needed to be replaced, even though the ink level monitor still said I had about 1/4 of the ink left. A new ink cartridge didn't solve the problem, so I tried to clean the print heads using the 'clean' function. The test page came back with some lines perfectly clear and solid, others exceptionally streaky. I've cleaned 5-6 times in the past 2 days, and the problem is not improving. ?
