epson related FAQ- I already installed the software for my Epson CX6400 printer in my computer. But after several tries, and my printer is still not working. What should I do?
- Are non-genuine Epson ink cartridge refills okay?
- Why won't the magenta ink work on my Epson Stylus DX3850 even though I've changed the ink cartridge I've tried using the 'clean heads' function but there is no print from the Magenta at all.?
- My printer won't work - I press the power button, it lights up green and then goes off and the paper button and ink button start to flash alternately. I have tried turning it off and on again, and restarting my computer. I have been through the troubleshooting actions for the C66 on the Epson website, but they have not helped. There is nothing in the way of the printer carriage - no paper jam, no foreign object. The lid on top of the cartridge carriage is fully closed (I have had a similar problem where it wouldn't quite click into place, so I have double checked this). When turning it on the printer doesn't seem to want to even try to move the carriage (like it does normally) - the green power light goes straight off and the other lights start to flash. There is plenty of paper in the feeder and all the ink cartridges are full. The computer seems to be sending the information as normal (ie when you select 'print' the printer icon appears on the task bar).?
- I was wondering if there was a defect in my Epson CX6400 printer. It doesn't print anything. It's like there is a block between the ink cartridge and the printer.?
- My brother recently gave me an Epson R200 printer with an ink system fitted. He hadn't used it for a while and the inks have gone 'sludgy'. Is there any way i can flush the bottles and cartridges to refill them?
- I have an Epson dx4850 that has full cartridges but will not print. I have used cleaning cartridges to clean heads. Help!?
- I just purchased some generic ink cartridges for my printer, put them all in and now the printer won't print properly. I've cleaned the heads and did several nozzle checks, but all i'm getting is a faint blue print. It said on the instructions that when they were installed that the 'system will mention that they are not genuine' which it didn't. and that i was supposed to check 'no' so the system recognises the chip. I didn't get the option to do that. It's an Epson rx510.?
- I have an Epson C62 printer, which uses both a black and a color cartridge. Recently, the color cartridge went dry and the printer stopped printing, this despite the fact that I directed the system to continue to print in black ink only. I thought the Epson would operate as long as there was ink in, at least, one of the cartridges. Am I wrong about this or is my printer defective Does the printer require that both cartridges be present, with sufficient ink in them, to operate properly?
- What printer is the best, HP, Kodak, or Epson ?
