epson related FAQ- I recently downloaded the printer driver for Windows XP for my Epson Stylus Color 880 printer. The download was fine, but after I unzipped the file, I got the following message: C:WINNTSYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application. 1. What does this mean 2. Is there a way around this so that I can install the printer driver?
- I have an Epson DX4400 all in one printer scanner. The yellow ink cartridge is empty, or not working. When I try to get the cartridge holder to go to the refill position by pressing the stop button as per the manual, it ignores the instruction and does not move to the refill position, if you hold the button down to long it just starts a head cleaning process. Any ideas as to the solution to getting the heads to the refill position manually?
- I have an Epson CX5400 and my father has a CX6400 and we are both having difficulty printing. I'm very computer literate and have checked everything I know to check and regular printer maintenance options only seem to waste ink and do little to resolve the printing issues. I think the problem might be related to the fact that neither one of us uses our printer much so I believe the ink nozzles are getting clogged. If that's what this likely is, how can we clean them without going through three whole sets of new ink cartridges trying to clean them?
- I have an Epson C59, and my cyan and magenta cartridges don't print anymore. Only the yellow and black color print out. I've tried the head cleaning utility multiple times, but it doesn't work. What should I do?
- I have an Epson Color 980 computer printer and I'm duplicating and printing old 1890 to 1930 pictures so my entire family will have copies. I'm doing this on HP Premium Plus inkjet glossy photo 8 1/2 X 11, 11.5 mil paper. I'm using Inksel cartridges I get for myself at work. Should I worry that the ink or paper will fade in the future Any suggestions on purchasing the good stuff?
- I haven't used my Epson Stylus C84 printer for a few months. A few weeks ago I thought I would pull it out and use it again. I went and bought all new ink for it at Staples but it doesn't print. The only color that prints is the blue. Does anyone know what is wrong with it I ran it through the cleaning like 10 times and still only blue prints.?
- I have recently purchased an Epson T039020 premium ink cartridge. But the ink level seems to be fading out fast. How many colored papers can I expect it to yield?
- My Epson stylus C86 will not print at all. I have replaced the black ink twice, the printer recognizes that it's full but will only print blank pages. I've tried printing in a different color but the print comes out mess up or nothing at all. I have also done the nozzle check and head cleaning a million times. Can someone please help me out on what to do?
- Can anyone recommend me a good all-in-one printer I've been doing a lot of research and can't seem to find one I like. I would prefer against Canon and have been looking between HP and Epson. My first printer was an HP PSC 1510 and couldn't spool paper properly, was this problem fixed in later generations But for Epson, will the printer still function if anyone of the 4 or 6 ink cartridges run out?
- I have an Epson Stylus CX3650 and I have checked if everything works. Everything is all in place, and is expected to work fine. But it keeps printing blank pages even right after changing the ink cartridges. What is wrong with it?
