• I'm using an Epson CX4600 which I started using again after letting it gather dust for a few years. I replaced the ink and tried to print something out, but all that came out were a few faint pink lines. I can't even print with black ink. Well, given the fact that the printer hasn't been used in a while, and the expiry date of my 'new' ink cartridges was on Aug. 2007 (been sitting on the shelf too), I know it's either of these two things that's causing the problem. I just want to be assured that there's nothing mechanically wrong with this printer. What do you guys think P.S. I already tried the all the Maintenance Functions (cleaning, aligning, etc.) several times to no avail. Please tell me that it's just the ink or dust!?
