• I tried to use two different continuous ink systems with my Epson RX685, but am getting the message 'cartridges not recognised, have tried reset several times same problem, does anyone know; A. how do I solve it B. If I tried using compatible cartridges instead, will they work c. if I changed printer to Epson Rx585, will I have the same problems?
• My printer won't work - I press the power button, it lights up green and then goes off and the paper button and ink button start to flash alternately. I have tried turning it off and on again, and restarting my computer. I have been through the troubleshooting actions for the C66 on the Epson website, but they have not helped. There is nothing in the way of the printer carriage - no paper jam, no foreign object. The lid on top of the cartridge carriage is fully closed (I have had a similar problem where it wouldn't quite click into place, so I have double checked this). When turning it on the printer doesn't seem to want to even try to move the carriage (like it does normally) - the green power light goes straight off and the other lights start to flash. There is plenty of paper in the feeder and all the ink cartridges are full.
