epson related FAQ- I tried to use two different continuous ink systems with my Epson RX685, but am getting the message 'cartridges not recognised, have tried reset several times same problem, does anyone know; A. how do I solve it B. If I tried using compatible cartridges instead, will they work c. if I changed printer to Epson Rx585, will I have the same problems?
- My printer won't work - I press the power button, it lights up green and then goes off and the paper button and ink button start to flash alternately. I have tried turning it off and on again, and restarting my computer. I have been through the troubleshooting actions for the C66 on the Epson website, but they have not helped. There is nothing in the way of the printer carriage - no paper jam, no foreign object. The lid on top of the cartridge carriage is fully closed (I have had a similar problem where it wouldn't quite click into place, so I have double checked this). When turning it on the printer doesn't seem to want to even try to move the carriage (like it does normally) - the green power light goes straight off and the other lights start to flash. There is plenty of paper in the feeder and all the ink cartridges are full. The computer seems to be sending the information as normal (ie when you select 'print' the printer icon appears on the task bar).?
- I just purchased brand new ink for my Epson cx9400 printer. Whenever I try to print a document, the print guide states the printer is not ready to print, and shows images of empty cartridges. Also, this can't be the ink's fault because this problem also happened with my previous set of ink.?
- I have an Epson Stylus Photo 830 printer, but it does not print properly. I still have the same problem even after replacing the ink cartridge with a new one.?
- What should be done if the new Epson ink cartridge I installed does not work?
- I have an Epson 4400 printer and my issue is that when I try to connect it to the USB, it doesn't recognize it.?
- My Printer is an Epson Stylus CX5200. I've tried everything, but I don't know what's wrong with it. It says I don't have ink, but my ink levels are pretty high. I did nozzle check, head cleaning. Anyone know what's wrong And now I can't even scan anything. Someone please help me.?
- I have some problems with my EPSON CX5900. Previously, I was using a compatible ink but somehow one day, the printer go crazy and asks me to install new cartridges. Therefore, I just bought the genuine cartridges hoping that it could solve the problem. But the problem still persists - the error display is E-02 and prompts me to install new cartridges. Has anyone come across this problem before?
- I've got an Epson R2400, the photo prints look great on Epson paper; but I'm having trouble printing on plain paper. The prints look like someone just smeared some dull ink over the paper. There is no gradients in the colors, no detail and looks very dark and muddy. Does anyone know how to make it print properly on plain paper?
- I've recently brought an Epson Stylus Colour C66 Printer. The only problem is it sometimes comes up with the message that the ink cartridges aren't compatible with my printer. Yet they are the same type it asks for! Today for example it said The message and then I turned my printer off after requesting to print something. That seemed to reboot my printer making the message go away. Then I had to chance my black in and as soon as I had changed my ink the message came up again. That is when it seems to happen after putting new ink cartridges in. Has this happened to anyone else before Help much appreciated.?
