But instead of beginning a print job the status light changes to yellow/orange and blinks 8 times and then returns to steady green. It did that while I was troubleshooting all the obvious things then went into a cycle of steady green, 8 blinks of yellow/orange, steady green (for about 3 seconds). Repeat. FYI, I'm currently using a laptop with Vista and have used this printer with it before with no problems. I've also used this printer with an XP computer and even Windows 98 with no problems.?
