canon related FAQ- I have a Canon i560 printer and it used to print really nice photos on photo paper. About a year ago, the blue ink would not work and we started just using the printer without it. Recently, I soaked the printer head in rubbing alcohol and cleaned the clogged pores. All colors print, but there seems to be a bluish-grey shade on top of every picture and I don't know how to get rid of it. The photos don't look as real anymore.?
- My printer is a Canon Pixma MP210. I removed the ink cartridge for a couple of days while I went around trying to see if anyone could refill it. After I replaced the ink cartridge, it didn't work, so I read the directions. It says don't leave it dry or with out a cartridge as that may cause it to dry out or get gummed up. It only had a 90 day warranty on it, and Canon wants to charge me $10 to get on with tech support. Does anyone have any ideas on how to de-gunk the head on the ink cartridge ?
- I'm printing my photography portfolio out on a Canon MP530. I've installed the ink cartridges correctly and done alignment tests but I still get lines on my photographs. I'm using glossy paper, but i still get lines on normal paper too. I've cleaned and deep cleaned the cartridges to make sure they are not clogged. I've checked the nozzles. I just don't what I should do, apart from paying a fortune to get them professionally printed. What should I do?
- What Canon printer support software is compatible with Mac OS X (10.5) Leopard?
- The black ink in my Canon Pixma does not print. How do I replace the print head of my Canon Pixma ip90 printer?

- We have an older Gateway computer that has not been used for a while. The computer isn't hooked up to the internet so we can't download anything onto it. We are using the computer to type up papers (needed it for a secretary to use). We bought a new printer (HP or Canon D1400) and we put in the disc that came with it before plugging it in the comp to make sure it gets installed correctly. During the installation it stops and says it cannot find any USB ports. There are 2 on the back of the computer which we used the day before with a mouse (at first it didn't work till we rebooted). We plugged the printer in and rebooted. The computer didn't recognize any new devices and had the same problem with the installation. We tried the wizard and didn't find the printer model for it. We were wanting to know if using the repair on the XP disc would fix the problem or what else we could do to solve this?
- I have a Canon s200SPx printer, but my computer (with XP as OS) cannot detect it. I tried several USB printer cables, but they all failed. Also, I just want to know if the button on the middle is the 'ON' button Please help.?
