brother related FAQ- Haven't used my Brother printer for 6 months. I've put in new cartridges but it still isn't printing?
- I have recently bought a Brother MFC-465CN multi-purpose printer. I have barely printed 40 pages (most in B&W) and the printer already asked me to replace 2 of the colour cartridges. I tried to set it to print in black only, but it's not allowed. All cartridges must not be empty for the machine to print. Strangely, I took the indicated cartridges out and found that they were not empty. I want to know if there is a work-around to this problem, besides buying new cartridges.?
- I have a Brother printer DCP11oc and it will only print in yellow. I've changed the ink but it still doesn't work.?
- Why does my Brother 7820N printer leave a white streak in the middle of the page Does it have something to do with my cartridge?
- How can I connect my Brother printer into a USB plug ?

- We bought this Brother Fax/Copier that takes a TN-350 toner cartridge. The problem was that it ran out very quickly, giving nowhere the 2500 copies that it says in the manual. I looked on the net and found that inside the printer there is an 'eye' on each side of the cartridge and a corresponding one in each side of the machine itself. If you get some black tape or some of those round sticky spots and cover both eyes in the printer it no longer gives the toner low message. There is another problem though, on the left side of the toner cartridge there is a gear with an arm on it that turns as it's used. Once the arm turns all the way anti clockwise the printer says replace cartridge no matter how much toner is left. To get around this I wound tape around the lug near the lever and the printer thinks the lever is not all the way home.?
- My Brother printer cannot print from OpenOffice. How can I configure it?
- Is there any way to disable a single ink cartridge in my Brother DCP-310 I want to keep on printing even if one cartridge is empty.?
- I have a Brother MFC 210 printer and when I click to see the ink volume, it says there's plenty left. 2, or 3 bars left of the + sign. 5 bars to the right of the - sign for all of the colors, Black, R, Y, B. How do I get the maximum ink out of my cartridge I've only used the black ink for three months and it seems to be running out.?
