EPSON related FAQ- My magenta ink won't print out right. My printer is an Epson Stylus C64 with DuraBrite ink.?
- I have an Epson DX4400 all-in One printer/scanner. The yellow ink cartridge is empty, or not working. When I try to get the cartridge holder to go to the refill position by pressing the stop button as per the manual, it ignores the instruction and does not move to the refill position, if you hold the button down too long, it just starts a head cleaning process. Any ideas as to the solution to getting the heads to the refill position manually. I am using compatible ink cartridges, and I realize this may cause the problem.?

- Does an Epson CX6600 have a 'sponge card' My sister tells me that her Brother printer needs a new 'sponge card'. She says the sponge is used to soak up unwanted ink. My Epson CX6600 seems to flush the ink cartridges on power-up, and as the ink has to go somewhere, I assume it must have a sponge card too.?

- I use my Epson printer for printing inkjet printable CDs and DVDs. It is relatively new (less than 6 months). I just replaced three of the 6 ink cartridges. Now I am getting dotted lines down the pages/CDs for two of the colors I replaced (black and magenta). Does anyone know what could be causing this I used Epson cartridges. I've been through the Nozzle Test and Head Cleaning but neither helped. Any suggestions?
- I have an Epson Stylus CX7400, and I tried replacing all the ink cartridges with XPrint Ink Cartridges. The boxes specifically state 'for use in Stylus CX7400', E-0T0692. After having run the ink replacement troubleshoot, the black ink was accepted, but the cyan, magenta, and yellow inks were deemed 'incompatible' by the printer. When trying to print black and white documents, the printer does not respond to any printing commands. Is there a way to print only with black ink without replacing the color cartridges When opening the troubleshooter, the printer suggests purchasing ink and leads to the same ink replacement program. Is there a way to force printing without compatibility?
