EPSON related FAQ- If an Epson ink cartridge is not used very often, how long should it be kept in the printer?
- My Epson Stylus color printer is not getting black or color on the demo page. What's wrong?
- Why does my Epson printer print the pages partially?
- I own an Epson Stylus Photo RX620. I have a full container of black ink, but my other color ink cartridges are empty. How come I can't simply print it in all black/white?
- I was installing the ink cartridges in my Epson CX8400 and afterwards an error message came up. It said 'cannot recognize ink cartridges.' can anyone help me?
- I have an Epson Stylus C66. I have been using the ink of some cheaper unknown brand for some two years. Now the printer is saying that it can not recognize the yellow ink cartridge. I have used that cartridge to print before but one day it just started saying cant recognize cartridge. I should probably use original Epson ink cartridges but the thing is out of the four ink cartridges, all of them are of the brand I have been using over the two years and suddenly the printer stopped recognizing the yellow cartridge. I replaced the yellow cartridge with a new one of the same brand but it is still not recognizing the cartridge. Also is there a way I can print with only the black cartridge, even when I choose black and white in the option when printing , it still says that it can't recognize the yellow cartridge.?
- I have an Epson CX5400 and my father has a CX6400 and we are both having difficulty printing. I'm very computer literate and have checked everything I know to check and regular printer maintenance options only seem to waste ink and do little to resolve the printing issues. I think the problem might be related to the fact that neither one of us uses our printer much so I believe the ink nozzles are getting clogged. If that's what this likely is, how can we clean them without going through three whole sets of new ink cartridges trying to clean them?
- I've two EPSON Stylus C86 printers from a while ago, I've being not using them for almost two years and now I just replaced some of the ink cartridges. What happened when I sent my colored flyer is that both printers were not giving me the right colors as I have them on the flyer. I tried the head cleaning and still have the same problem. One of them doesn't print the yellow and the other one doesn't print the green. I've tried the head cleaning and the nozzle check pattern but it did not work. I don't understand why both of them have the same problem.?
- I have run out of ink on Epson printerm so I got new cartridges. The printer looks as if it is ready to print but when I go to print everything, the pages are blank. I redid the putting in the new cartridges a couple more times with no success. didn't work. I've already done a nozzle check.?
- I have an Epson printer which I connected to my PC with a USB cable (short length, shielded). The printer was recognized by Windows Vista Business and installed correctly. Although I can check the ink cartridge level from the properties when I try to print something, it sends it to the printer queue, it disappears but the printer does not print anything (it doesn't even try to start printing). I had this printer connected to a Windows XP machine with a parallel cable and worked nice, but after I bought a new PC and connected it via USB it doesn't print (no parallel port on the new PC). ?
