• Would be there any problems if my full cartridge is removed from my Epson printer and reinserted again?

• Hi all I've got an Epson DX3850. I've just changed the black ink cartridge (it was 100% fine before the change) and now I'm getting really bad horizontal banding on print outs from the black (it makes text unreadable). What can I do I've tried aligning the print head and cleaning the nozzles but it doesn't appear to be getting better. Any suggestions Is it possible that this ink cartridge is faulty?

• I just got my Epson Stylus CX8400 printer. When you turn it on to install the print cartridges, you get the 'a printer error has occurred' error where it says you have to turn off the printer. When you turn printer on, the printer squeaks for a second or two, and then you get the error message. Also, print head won't advance to the proper position to install the print cartridges. Tape was removed properly from print head unit, so that isn't it. Read the manual, went to the Epson website, went through the troubleshooting -- nothing worked. Any suggestions on what can be done Printer is brand new.?
