EPSON related FAQ- How do I clean my Epson CX5400's printer head?
- My printer is an Epson CX7400. I had used the print head cleaning utility that came with my printer a few times because of low quality prints. It really does help. But this one time I did it the black ink failed to come out of the cartridge!!! There were a few random black lines here and there. At that time only black wasn't working and all the colors were. I did the clean again to see if black would work again, but now the colors don't work at all and the black leaves random marks here and there?
- Hi all I've got an Epson DX3850. I've just changed the black ink cartridge (it was 100% fine before the change) and now I'm getting really bad horizontal banding on print outs from the black (it makes text unreadable). What can I do I've tried aligning the print head and cleaning the nozzles but it doesn't appear to be getting better. Any suggestions Is it possible that this ink cartridge is faulty?
- Every time I print with my Epson Stylus Photo R1800, it is missing out lines in my text. I know it is the black ink that is the problem. I have cleaned the printheads, changed the cartridges but still no difference! Doesn anyone one know how i can solve this problem?
- I have a new Epson Stylus C88+ and it worked perfectly the first few weeks, but now a month later I am having a problem. When I try to print, the yellow won't come out. This is a printer with separate cartridges for all the colors, so I did the nozzle check, and I cleaned it, but still the same thing happens when I print the test pattern, there is no yellow -just sporadic black marks. I tried replacing the cartridge too.?
- I have an Epson Photo printer and the colors are not printing correctly. It prints dark and a lot of extra brown and greenish colors. Whites look grey. I have tried the manual and done the color checks and we took it apart and cleaned it. No change. The ink cartridges do not appear to be leaking. What can it be?
- I have an Epson R220 printer. It ran out of ink and all I have in the house right now are refilled cartridges. I took the old ones out and put the new ones in but the printer won't do anything. It keeps telling me there are no cartridges in the printer, they're the wrong cartridges or the cartridges are empty. I had this problem once before and somehow figured it out and got the printer to work. But not this time. I've tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions?
- Which Epson ink cartridges do I need?
- We recently 'rescued' an Epson C44UX printer from the rubbish and although I don't need it, could give it to our local 'freecycle' site if it was still working. I have connected it up to my computer, it lights up and when I press print the cartridges do move up to the 'print' positon, but as there are no cartridges in it, obviously it doesn't print. I don't want to go to the expense of buying cartridges which are no use to me in my own printer if the Epson is US. Any ideas?
- I have the Epson Stylus C62 Printer on my Windows XP computer and I have not printed from it in a year. It has a full black ink cartridge in it and I need a color one but some people say it would dry up. Before the last time, I used I left it for 7 months and still worked.?
