The HP OfficeJet K80 is an all-in-one high-quality printer, fax,
scanner, and copier. With this unit, you'll have four essential office
tools right on your desk--and it's easy to use and simple to set up.
With the OfficeJet K80, you can multitask while copying, printing,
sending, receiving, or scanning. The printer provides photorealistic
images on plain or photographic paper. This is due in part to
Hewlett-Packard's PhotoREt III technology and a color resolution of
2,400 x 1,200 dpi for color printing and 600 x 600 dpi for black-only
printing. The OfficeJet K80 printer produces up to 12 ppm in black and
10 ppm in color.
The OfficeJet K80 printer's fax works via the front panel. It has its
own output bin and an automatic 20-page document feeder. It's compatible
with answering machines, and has PC faxing, send, auto redial, and
memory send and receive functions. Transmission rate is 3 seconds per
page.
The OfficeJet K80 has an exceptionally high-quality scanner that turns
originals into photo-quality reproductions. Subtle contrasts, as well as
vibrant colors, are due in part to the 3,600 dpi resolution. A simple
Scan button automatically places your scan into a selected software
application or e-mail.
Excellent color and black-only copies come out at up to 12 copies per
minute in black and 8 cpm in color. Like the fax component, the copier
has its own output bin and 20-page automatic document feeder. You can
also make reductions and enlargements from 25 to 400 percent.
