The 9680 utilizes HP's thermal inkjet technology, a PhotoREt IV 6-ink
printing system, and specially formulated inks to provide bright,
true-to-life colors at optimized resolutions as high as 4,800 x 1,200
dpi, while resolutions for monochrome prints are as high as 1,200 x
1,200 dpi.
The 9680 connects via either its USB or parallel ports, has a 150-sheet
input capacity, 75-sheet output capacity, and accepts up to 15
envelopes. A wide variety of originals are accepted, including paper
(plain, inkjet, photo), envelopes, transparencies, labels, cards (index,
greeting), iron-on transfers, banner paper, standard sizes including
