If you are looking for a good scan
quality and laser-quality text, Epson CX5400 printer will be ideal for
you. But, Epson CX5400 doesn’t provide memory card slots for printing
photos.
Smart Panel Program of Epson CX5400 printer is divided into 4 sections:
Photo (for reprints or saving photo scans), Document (for OCR scans,
copying or sending a copy/scan to your fax software), Photo Project (for
saving scans to cataloging software or sending them directly to Word or
another application) and Share Your Photo (for e-mailing your scan).
The printer doesn’t provide standalone fax machine but with its software
you are able to create a fax from a scan and also ship it to your fax or
modem. Epson CX5400 provides an output tray and you can close it to save
space or for aesthetic reasons. You can put paper in it from the back
using an upright tray. Epson CX5400 also provides USB port (cable
included). Epson Stylus CX5400 comes with three color ink cartridges and
one black ink cartridge and these Epson CX5400 ink cartridges are easy
to insert and click into place.
Epson CX5400 provides a dialog box. This dialog box appears whenever a
print job begins and with its helpful tips, diagrams, displays,
color-fixing tools and logical screen flows you can easily understand
what you need to get the job done.
It is easy and quite quick to set up Epson Stylus CX5400. The posters
with pictorial examples let you know what to do, but it would be better
if it had more text.
