Epson Stylus C80N, an Inkjet Printer
that provides DuraBrite Ink Technology
Epson C80N provides DuraBrite Ink and
Resolution Performance Management Technologies. In DuraBrite Ink
Technology, ink cartridges produce colorful and durable prints. And
Resolution Performance Management Technology offers automatic edge
smoothing and variable resolution printing.
It is very easy to install Epson Stylus C80N print server: first plug
the Epson Stylus C80N print server directly into the parallel port of
inkjet printer, then connect the server's separate power cord and lastly
plug a network cable into the Epson Stylus C80N print server. Alas,
network setup is more difficult.
In Epson C80N, the first screen of the installation program provides
options for installing the Epson Stylus C80N driver and also each of
several utilities. These utilities contains a program for automating
part of the setup, a utility for printing from Microsoft Windows 9x and
Me and an inkjet printer management program. If you are familiar with
setting up the network inkjet printers, the Getting Started manual
briefly explains each item well enough for you. But this manual fails in
giving step-by-step instructions and it doesn't cover the automated set
up either.
