Photo Printing Secrets
The photo printers in the market today are able to produce professional
quality digital photos with true-life colors. But there are some tips and
techniques for getting the best out of your photo printer. With the
following photo printing secrets, you can improve the print quality of your
digital photos to a great extend.
High resolution: Make sure that the electronic file of your digital photos
is at least 240 dpi for smaller photos (4 x 6 and below) and 300 dpi for
larger ones (5 x 7 and above).
Correct format: Save your picture in the correct format i.e. TIFF or JPEG.
You can use the JPEG format for emailing and TIFF for printing.
Editing software: Use a good photo editing software program to adjust your
digital photos.
Driver settings: Set your printer’s preferences to highest print quality and
always use the latest driver version available.
