The bad: Unwieldy software; skimpy paper handling; iffy scan quality.
What's it for: Printing photos from memory cards, a PictBridge camera, or from a PC; so-so scanning; photocopying.
Who's it for: Home users looking for a photo printer that can photocopy once in a while and make so-so scans.
Business use: Without a fax machine or a photocopy sheet feeder, better keep this one at home, unless you need a spare cubicle color printer.
Essential extras: A USB cable is a must; photo ink and a digital camera are advised.
The bottom line: Against other all-in-ones, the HP PSC 2355 is a decent value with excellent text prints, but it's no digital-imaging standout.
