The Epson Stylus Photo 1270 is optimized for photo printing. The Epson 1270 prints with six colors, adding light cyan and light magenta to the standard cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The Epson 1270 is reasonable choice for all-purpose printing.
If you have a USB connection, setup is identical for it: Connect the cable, then install the ink cartridges and driver.
The 1270 is a tabloid-size version of the 870. Targeted at professional graphic artists and photographers, it ships with Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE. In addition, the company offers a special discount on the purchase of MonacoEZcolor, which lets you calibrate a printer and scanner to a monitor.
