A six-color photo printer that uses the same 1-picoliter-droplet FINE printhead as the Pixma iP5000, the Pixma iP6600D pairs the printhead with Canon's new ChromaLife 100 ink set. The inks are designed so that when they fade--as all inks inevitably do--each primary theoretically fades at the same rate, in order to preserve the hues in the photograph. Dual paper trays, a 3.5-inch LCD plus media card slots, and IrDA camera-phone printing support are the highlights of this model; Bluetooth is optional.
