Canon's CP-220 compact dye-sub photo printer enables you to print pictures quickly, easily, and directly from a digital camera, virtually anywhere. It can print high-quality color photos in three different paper sizes, either from a computer via USB or from a digital camera via direct connection. It is small enough to travel, powered by the included AC adapter.
Using 300 dpi dye-sublimation technology with 256 levels of color, this compact photo printer renders skin tones, shadings, and fine details with professional-looking accuracy. A transparent water- and fade-resistant coating offers added protection against the damaging effects of sunlight and humidity.
The CP-220 produces wide (4 by 8 inches), postcard (4 by 6 inches), and credit card (with or without borders) sizes, plus credit card labels and mini labels. You'll get completed prints in just 85 seconds (40 seconds for credit card size).
The CP-220 supports the PictBridge printing standard, enabling any PictBridge-compliant digital camera to connect directly to the printer. For maximum versatility, you can also connect your computer to the CP-220 via a standard USB computer cable (not included). Printer drivers and Canon software for both PCs and Mac are included. The CP-220 also features an Automatic Dynamic Range Correction function that optimizes the print image information sent from your PictBridge camera, producing brighter, sharper, better-looking results.

U se your Canon PowerShot camera with ID Photo Print feature to take a picture. Then crop and print it right from the camera. In seconds, you've got multiple ID Photos on a single sheet. Ideal for school or work, security badges, application forms and more.
Movie Print
With Movie Print, you can create frame-by-frame prints of mini movies. Set the "Movie Print" feature on your camera to create an index print of the individual frames; the camera automatically selects key frames based on the total running time of the movie and the number of stills required to fill the sheet.

- Connect. Connect a select Canon digital camera or PictBridge supported digital camera to the CP-220 using the standard USB cable included with your digital camera. Now you're ready to print. There's no need to use your computer.
- Press. Simply playback a picture on your camera's LCD. Then, press the lighted Print/Share Button (select PowerShot models). For cameras without a Print/Share Button, simply press print in the function menu (varies by model).
- Print. Print water and fade-resistant, high quality prints in a variety of sizes: wide size, postcard, credit card size, labels, and mini labels.

The good: Fine print quality; fast; adorable and portable; rechargeable battery pack included; allows direct printing from digital cameras.
The bad: Expensive; included ink ribbon prints only five photos; no LCD or media slots; no editing software; printing process takes a lot of physical space.
The bottom line: The CP-220 doesn't have any whiz-bang features, but its compact design and quality output make it a reasonable choice among portable photo printers.
